Clothing in India is of mixed culture and changes with the different race, origin, geography, climate, and cultural traditions of the people of each region of India. Dhoti, a traditional marriage dress of India. It is four to six feet long made up of a white strip of cotton. In villages, this traditional wear outfit is mainly worn by men. It is held in place by a style of wrapping and sometimes with the help of a belt, ornamental and embroidered or a flat and simple one, around the waist.
Men in India usually has the habit to wear it long, Over the dhoti, men wear shirts, white sarong like sheets of cloth known as Mundu. It's called dhoti in Marathi. In Gujrati it is known as Dhotiyu while coming to Telugu people they call it as  Pancha, Tamilians say it as veshti in a popular way and in Kannada, it is usually called as Panache/Lungi. Over this dhoti, men have also a tradition of wearing shirts.

 Lungi, another traditional daily use garment of India. A type of lungi, known as Mundu which is always made white in color. It is especially enfolded in, over the waist, blended to knee-length or apparently it is laid over and reach up to the ankle. It is generally enfolded in when the person is working, in paddy fields or workshops, and in terms to show as a pageant of respect, in temples or other places of worship or to a particular luminary or person of influence.
Lungis on part of the occasion are of two types; One of it is the Open type and the other one is a Stitched one. The Open type of lungi is a plain cotton layer or sometimes made up of silk, the other one which is Stitched, is when both the open ends are stitched which looks like a tube when wrenched.


These Lungis are majorly worn by men, some elderly women also promote lungi to other garments owing to their good preferences. People in South India, Bengal, etc has the major tradition of wearing it, and the people of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, etc are also can be  seen wearing lungis, because of so much heat and also due to humidity, which creates an unpleasant condition for trousers, though wearing trousers on the course of time have now become common outside the house.

Sherwani is the other Marriage traditional garments, Manyavar is one of the top brands of Sherwani for men, it is especially a long coat/jacket that cherished up buttons with a sophisticated look through the length of the jacket. Saree is a traditional garment worn by women in India, It is of about endless types and with various styles, varying from five to nine yards long. The few types are Banarasi Silk Sarees, Rasheeda saree, Khun Saree, Kasuti Sarees, Chanderi Sarees, Tant Saree, Kanjeevaram Sarees, Assam Silk Sarees, Batik Print Sarees, Tussar silk Sarees, Assam Muga silk sarees, Dhakai Jamdani Sarees, Panchampalli Sarees, Mysore Silk Saree etc. Women love to wear it, as it is a signatory of cultural dignity and heritage.
